The Associates at the Gables is a long standing practice formed in 2002 and, at times, has one, two, or three day rental opportunities for therapists to join our practice. Our office suite is in an attractive, private and quiet setting, connected to our staff/client parking lot by a wheelchair accessible footbridge. There are six spacious offices, a reception area, two waiting rooms, two bathrooms (one client and one staff), a meeting room and a staff kitchen. We are in close proximity to medical practices, businesses, schools, and the residential areas of Williston.
The partners at the Associates at the Gables provide and manage many of the costs of running the practice including; a portion of the rent for the space in the building, common area maintenance, taxes, electricity, heat, water and sewer, phone services within the United States, internet access, advertising via the internet and the yellow book, a joint e-mail account, slip and fall insurance coverage, office furnishings, copier, fax, common area supplies, weekly cleaning, and repairs as needed. The partners also offer a weekly peer case consultation group, referrals, assistance in setting up your practice, and advice and assistance in networking with community providers.
The professional and clinical obligations of renters include; maintaining one’s professional license at a Master or Doctoral-level in Vermont, having professional malpractice insurance and, if desired, contracts with insurance companies. They should also have clinical training and experience in psychotherapy, a commitment to ongoing professional growth through continuing education and consultation and an interest in providing exceptional client care. Good communication skills, professionalism, personal maturity and self-awareness are also encouraged at our practice.
