Samantha B. Barr, Psy.D. is a Licensed Psychologist-Doctorate. After receiving her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, she went on to complete a Masters Degree and a Doctoral Degree from Yeshiva University in Bronx, New York. Her current practice includes individual, family and couples therapy, and she works with clients ranging in age from adolescents to adults. Her orientation is based on a variety of psychodynamic theories, cognitive behavioral approaches and techniques, interpersonal psychotherapy and mindfulness work. She has experience and expertise with a wide range of mental health issues and behavioral concerns that occur across the diagnostic spectrum. Some of her areas of interest include anxiety, depression, eating disorders, trauma, domestic violence, relationships, assertiveness, life transitions and parenting concerns.
